Reading, watching history programs, storage wars, The Big Bang Theory, Shark Wranglers, fishing, gardening, collecting old buttons, collecting sports cards, woodworking, renovations, picking, painting/drawing.
Both love a good laugh and try to be positive in a very troubled world.
Janet is now retired from owning a dance studio for 17 years, and being in the performing arts' world for over 40 years.
She is a published author in both fiction and non-fiction and is a graduate freelance writer and an amateur photographer.
Both Janet and Paul own Fine Images, a business connected to Janet's writing and their shared passion for natural photography; and now, they are in business running Owniez Cardz 'N More.
"Together, we are raising a special needs daughter, Katie and love her to bits, and are the proud parents of another beautiful girl who has turned into a lovely, independent woman. "
Janet spends time walking with her dogs, photographing natural oddities. She is rarely seen without a camera. She also loves to draw and write children stories. In her free time, she is a chief editor of manuscripts for upcoming authors for The W.R.I.T.E. Affiliates, a Port Colborne based business she founded 20 years ago.
Paul is a licensed Machinist Millwright, was a single dad raising four children of his own when Janet met him, is a certified first aid instructor trainer, a volunteer fireman of 11 years, a welder, an actor/comedian, or in other words, a "Ham".
He collects trains, watches, and vintage old cars;, he loves antiques (claims to almost being one), and is the Sales Division CEO of Fine Images.
As he is contemplating retirement, Paul is growing more and more interested in hunting for treasures.
